Forme di Polvere_Oli Bonzanigo

21.09.2020 – 10.10.2020

Travelogue
Forme di Polvere (Forms of Dust) was born out of an exploration and artistic practice that lasted over four years in the Mediterranean, based in Palermo. Oli Bonzanigo has found and catalogued findings, experiments, errors, notes, proofs, maps, and objects that reveal a tireless, meticulous and ever-renewed process of research and study at the intersection of cultural anthropology, the history of civilisations, architecture, medicine and even science fiction.
The objects presented (colour proofs and sketches on fabric, sacred architecture, sketches, casting experiments, human body parts in porcelain) are part of several projects presented at Manifesta 12 (Palermo, 2018), Milan Triennale (2019), Marrakech Biennale #5 and #6 (2014 and 2016) and 1.54 Contemporary Art Fair (Marrakech, 2019), Video Sound Art Festival #7,#8,#9 (Milan 2018-2019, Palermo 2018).
